Thank you! I grew up with parents who grew up listening to the Beatles, Hendrix, the Floyd, Zappa, Deep Purple, etc. I get bugged when I go to Target and see a bazillion licensed products being worn by teens and young hipsters who think they’re spreading the peace and love of Hendrix and Lennon.

Do you think Paul McCartney gives a rat’s ass about any of this shit? No! The guy said himself that he doesn’t care about The Beatles Rock Band, or much of it. The two left alive are disillusioned with it. Harrison and McCartney went on to pretty damn good projects (Lennon was sub-par and Ringo is only great when he’s acting whimsical or has Frampton to back his ass), but all people can think about is “peace and love, dude.” What about BAND ON THE FUCKING RUN? Wings, bitch! WINGS!
